FYI: Recent trends among new exchange traded funds include ESG (environmental, social and governance) and smart beta ETFs. New ETFs in 2018 include a number of fixed income ETFs — a burgeoning trend — while JPMorgan (JPM) introduced some popular new funds. On the downside, cryptocurrency ETFs failed to gain traction amid the sustained fall in the price of Bitcoin.
