The Closing Bell: Dow & S&P 500 Give Up Gains On Renewed Trade Fears
FYI: U.S. Stocks slipped on Tuesday as renewed trade worries washed out strong gains in energy shares.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped over 65 points, while the S&P 500 traded just below the flatline down 3. The Nasdaq Composite, however, advanced 0.2 percent as Amazon shares rose.
Investors held off on making big bets ahead of the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decision. Concerns about continuing trade worries continue to linger.
