Gold Drops By Most In A Month Amid Dollar Strength: (GLD)

Gold prices fell sharply Friday as the dollar rebounded from its lowest level in two months against major currencies and global stock markets hit a six month high.

Gold dropped as much as 1.26 per cent - the most in over a month - to a one week low of $1,191.95 a troy ounce in half an hour of trading following the opening of the US market.
