FYI: When investors shop for dividend stocks and funds, they don't usually expect gangbusters price performance. But they often look for a steady yield.
That's what most of the top-performing U.S. dividend ETFs are providing this year. Only one fund, Oppenheimer S&P Ultra Dividend Revenue (RDIV), beat the S&P 500 based on year-to-date performance through Wednesday. RDIV gained 10.1% vs. the S&P 500's 9.5% year-to-date return, according to Morningstar Direct.
