FYI: Exchange-traded funds often perform better than mutual funds and actively managed mutual funds, and can give investors as well as governments the potential for significant gains. So far 2018 has seen a variety of action in ETFs with significant investments and cash concerns.
Asia’s best-performing stock market of the year is in India, and it’s considered a “good place to hide” from current trade war concerns, but the country also has the ETF with the largest outflows in the region over the past year. Net outflows have reached $1.7 billion from India’s ETFs over the past 12 months, dwarfing Russian’s runner-up status at $485 million in outflows.
