The Closing Bell: Nasdaq And S&P 500 Hit Record Highs As Tech Shares Rally
FYI: Second-quarter GDP update comes in at 4.2%, compared with previous 4.1% estimate. Stocks extended gains Wednesday, with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq again trading at record heights, as a multiday advance rolls on. Those gains have been underpinned by reported progress in trade talks, economic strength — despite some concern about slack in the housing market — and strong corporate results.
Nine of the eleven S&P 500 Sectors finished in positive territory. Real Estate, and Financials were down. Regards, Ted
