FYI: Axel Merk of the Merk Funds said his immediate outlook for the market has improved -- largely due to some trouble around tariffs and Turkey and other issues -- leading to pockets of buying opportunities, while Jim Welsh of SmartPortfolios said he expects gold to rally back to 1,300 or more in the next three to six months.
