FYI: Halfway through the year and the number of new ETF launches is almost identical to what it was last year. As of July 17, 2018, 124 new ETFs have launched, just one more than the 123 ETFs that launched during the same period in 2017.
There’s no question, the flow of new exchange-traded products coming to market remains robust. Whether that’s a good thing, or a bad thing or a neutral thing is open to debate.
