    Oh, yes! I've thought about this more than once since the trade war talk.

    Presuming you might agree, though; is that such a serious whack would be counterproductive for China, to the ability of American consumers to be able to continue to purchase product from China, as if this action did start to take place, I'm thinking that economic problems would show its face in the U.S., too.
    However, a statement of the possibility; if noted properly to the American public via the nightly news, etc. may open a few eyes.
    I presume most of the "regular" folks (the voters) who think they support a trade war globally, or blindly support POTUS, have no knowledge of who are the largest holders of Treasury issues that support the ongoing functions of this country.

    Suppose all of them could have the "debt clock" site forwarded to their "in boxes".
