"A Study Finds"...

As many of us appreciate, Vintage Freak has very limited tolerance for financial "pundits" who seem to be able to make a living by the repetitious manipulation of, not to be prissy, BS.

Allow me to contribute my vote for yet another realm of totally useless bullshit: "A Study Finds".

This burst of indignation was triggered by a current "article" on the PBS site:

"It's Easier To Call A Fact A Fact When It's One You Like, Study Finds"

Now, whoever would have thought that might be true?

  • It's even easier when you make up your own facts!! Not that I'm thinking of anyone specific by saying that in 2018, of course....
  • Once again I was well ahead of my time. When I "made up facts" in high school, I was sent to detention for my efforts. If you do that now, they send you to be president.
  • Hi Joe,

    Hope you're doing well.

That's the blessing and curse of the internet.

You can find the truth to any question you can think . . .

Or you can find a lie if that's what you wish to find.

    and so it goes,

    peace,
