Can Mutual Fund Giant Fidelity Become A Force In ETFs Too?

FYI: Fidelity Investments has long been known for its top-performing portfolio managers like Peter Lynch of Fidelity Magellan Fund (FMAGX) and Will Danoff of Fidelity Contrafund (FCNTX).

But in recent years, the Boston-based fund giant has increasingly focused on building a name for itself in the universe of exchange traded funds. In 2003, it launched its first ETF, Fidelity Nasdaq Composite Index Tracking Stock Fund (ONEQ). Since Greg Friedman came on board in 2013 as head of ETF management and strategy, Fidelity has really beefed up its offerings.
