John Waggoner: Best And Worst International Funds This Year

FYI: After excellent performance in 2017, international funds started this year awash with cash and hoping for smooth sailing. Unfortunately, they ran into an Italian storm — as well as a rising dollar — a combination that sent many international funds onto the rocks. But a few managed to fare well.

Here are the best and worst international funds this year, starting with the worst. Dividends and gains are reinvested through June 1, and data are courtesy of Morningstar Direct.
