FYI: Jeff Davis, chief investment officer at LMCG Investments, called the market's slow start to the year late in 2017, but he now believes the market has recovered from its earlier setback and -- while not completely out of the woods -- is ahead of where he expected to be and poised for a reasonable run for the rest of the year. Also, Elliott Gue of Energy and Income Advisor, said in the Market Call that we are coming out of a bear market for oil companies and moving into a new bull market for energy stocks.
