Google search pulls up dozens of articles on “financial porn.” The term was apparently coined by financial writer Jayne Bryant Quinn decades ago. I think the linked article best capsulates the main idea. And I note sadly that many articles purporting to attack “financial porn” are little more than financial porn themselves - presented by unscrupulous investment advisors / companies in pursuit of your business.
