FYI: After pulling money out of ETFs two months in a row, investors went on a buying spree in April. In total, $28.4 billion flowed into U.S.-listed ETFs during the month, following outflows of $4.4 billion in February and outflows of $2.7 billion in March.
April’s solid showing pushed year-to-date inflows up to $89.7 billion, but they have a long way to go to catch up to last year’s heady levels. At the end of April 2017, year-to-date inflows stood at $170.9 billion—nearly double this year’s levels.
