The Closing Bell: Dow Has Longest Losing Streak In a Year As 10-year Treasury Yield Cracks 3%
FYI: U.S. stocks fell on Tuesday, with major indexes retreating from early highs as a rise in bond yields provided another reason for caution at a time when the first-quarter earnings season is failing to excite investors, despite some strong reads from corporate America.
While the earnings season remained in full swing, with results from a number of major firms, the tone was generally negative, with several bellwether stocks slumping despite posting numbers that were ahead of analyst forecasts. Regards, Ted
Gee Ted. Three separate articles on Treasury yields in one day. Can't you post these duplicate stories under one post. You just beefing up your prestigious count of posts.
Yep - Ted’s a cagey one - always trying to pump up his score.
Hmmm ... I took a pass on @Flack’s monthly guessing contest - since I got the first one correct and didn’t want to tarnish my 1000 batting average. But there seemed to be a lot of bulls (or bull) this time round. How’s the month lookin guys?
