Adobe just want to sell more stuff, your data, to potential advertisers. As consumers one needs to read the fine print before you agree to use their services. For example, Adobe offers free cloud service (several GB storage) to store your images on their severs when you subscribe to Adobe CC suite package. But buried with the fine print Adobe retains the right to use your images (without paying licencing fee) for their purposes. If you do not use their cloud service, your images stay with you and not Adobe.
This practice is common with free cloud service and one has to be careful with your personal information.
