FYI: After a very long, very profitable run, the stock markets abruptly stumbled early in 2018, causing many investors to (gasp!) realize that they could actually lose money.

Yet as all seasoned investors know, market losses are perfectly normal. And for investors who invest sensibly and stay put, it’s also normal to recover.
