Renewed Stock Volatility Beckons Day Traders

FYI: The ranks of day traders thinned considerably in the last few years, since volatility is a key component in most successful trading strategies. Though there’s no easy way to get an exact count, most brokers say they count fewer day traders among their customers now than they did in 2012. But renewed volatility brings new opportunities to buy and sell profitably and could lure some new participants.
