Tax Cuts And Confidence Drive Surge Of Payouts

FYI: In the first weeks of 2018, investors are banking fatter-than-expected payouts from many companies in the Standard & Poor’s 1500 index, and others could follow as the year progresses, according to data from IHS Markit, a global analytical and economic research and forecasting firm. (The S&P 1500 index consists of the S&P 500, the S&P MidCap 400, and the S&P SmallCap 600 indexes.)
