FYI: All this past week, credit markets reminded themselves: The stock market isn’t the economy.
Rattled by rising interest rates, glimmers of inflation, and the dawn of a less-supportive monetary policy, stocks dropped 10% in a wild week, which qualifies as a correction. But bond investors, glued to their screens, tried to keep their fingers off the keyboard. Credit markets were orderly.
