FYI: BLS is out with some state specific data on the employment situation that I found interesting. For example, California (4.3 percent), Hawaii (2.0 percent), and Mississippi (4.6 percent) just set
new record lows back to the beginning of the data set in 1976. Hawaii has the lowest unemployment rate in the union, while Alaska’s is the highest (7.3 percent).
