FYI: The director of operations at a Georgia book distributor won the 2017 Barron’s forecasting challenge, topping more than 3,000 entrants in the annual contest.
Keith Sanders, 57, got a score of 12 out of a maximum possible 18 in the challenge. He correctly identified the top-performing stock in the Dow Jones Industrial Average— Boeing (ticker: BA)—while getting right 10 of the 14 multiple-choice questions.
The correct answers are shown below, as well as the percentage of all respondents who got the right answers, based on entries through our online survey system.
