FYI: U.S. stocks rose on Wednesday as the Dow solidified its hold on the 26,000 milestone even as General Electric Co. and Goldman Sachs sold off after weak quarterly results. The Beige Book from the Federal Reserve portrays an economy that is steadily growing although opinion on the latest tax reform were mixed.
