FYI: It has been a banner year for U.S. stocks, and particularly tech stocks, as investors rushed into growth-oriented names. The Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, -0.33% has gained 29% so far in 2017, outpacing the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.13% and S&P 500 index SPX, -0.17% up about 26% and 20% respectively.
