FYI: The Government has introduced legislation that would create a new strict national framework for controlling the production, distribution, sale and possession of cannabis in Canada. Health Canada has begun collecting additional data to better understand how Canadians view and use cannabis. This data will be used to evaluate the impact of the legislation, if approved by Parliament and brought into force, and to develop policy and program initiatives, including public education and awareness activities.
