John Waggoner: 10 Red-Hot International Funds And ETFs

FYI: International markets have been on a tear this year.
The MSCI Europe, Australasia and Far East Index is up 19.96% this year, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 stock index has gained 18.26%. The hot overseas returns follow two lousy years, which means a fund’s three-year record gives us the chance to see what funds have done in good years and bad.
The international funds and ETFs here are tops in their category, with above average alpha and below-average expenses. Returns are through November 30, according to Morningstar. And for the record, the MSCI EAFE index is up an average 3.17% a year the past three years and 5.36% a year the past five years.
Regards,
Ted
