The Closing Bell: Wall Street Dragged Down By Energy Stocks, Weak Jobs Data: Nasdaq-100 Up

edited October 2017 in The Bullpen
FYI: U.S. stocks eased on Friday after their recent record streak of gains as the first monthly decline in U.S. nonfarm jobs in seven years dampened sentiment and pharmacy shares declined.

Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA.O) and CVS Health (CVS.N) fell to session lows and were among the biggest drags on the S&P 500 after a CNBC report that Amazon (AMZN.O) was close to a decision on selling prescription drugs. Amazon shares were up 0.7 percent, while Rite Aid (RAD.N) was down 4.8 percent.
Regards,
Ted
