Oil's quietly gotten back above $50. Recall it bottomed in February 2016 @ $26. Other than that simple observation, I have no insights.
Well - just one thought. Petoleum (including gasoline) is a much tougher market to figure out than it was 40 or 50 years ago when many of us started investing. Technological advances in drilling and alternative sources of energy coming on-line make it a really tough one to get a handle on.
