Stock Market Participation Varies Greatly By State
FYI: In Vermont almost 50% of households that make between $100,000 and $200,000 own stocks. For similar households in Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Utah, and West Virginia the stock ownership percentage is closer to 30%, see chart below.
