The Closing Bell: Wall St. Slumps On Fresh North Korea Tensions
A wierd day. I had 7 gainers, 6 losers, and 3 unchanged. Those unchanged included TRRIX, which I view as a benchmark commensurate with my risk tolerance. Overall, my holdings were flat.
Most bonds and natural resources did well. Gold reached a one-year high. Interest rates fell. Equities, especially the financials, took a hit.
Two major hurricanes affecting the U.S. in a week's time and increasing tensions with North Korea, which defied Donald Trump's warnings by testing its first hydrogen bomb over the weekend, dominated the news.
