FYI: (The Linkster has been a long standing fan of telecom stocks rather than the traditional electric and phone utilities. At one time I owned 15 of them for capital appreciation and in most cases better than average yields, but have cut back to only two T and VZ. If the FCC won't let Title II be, cable and telecommunication services stocks stand to gain, a lot.
Fundstrat's Thomas Lee said that AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ), for example, could surge as much as 40% in the next 12 months, and still look cheaper than electric utilities. The markets appear to be agreeing with him, at least for today.
