Telecoms Tick Up ! Do You Own A Telecom Fund ?

FYI: (The Linkster has been a long standing fan of telecom stocks rather than the traditional electric and phone utilities. At one time I owned 15 of them for capital appreciation and in most cases better than average yields, but have cut back to only two T and VZ. In addition to the three ETFs mentioned in the article, one of the best sector funds ever conceived is PRMTX. You talk about a superior long-term record look at the M* Snapshot below.)

If the FCC won't let Title II be, cable and telecommunication services stocks stand to gain, a lot.

Fundstrat's Thomas Lee said that AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ), for example, could surge as much as 40% in the next 12 months, and still look cheaper than electric utilities. The markets appear to be agreeing with him, at least for today.

Ted
