Amazon's been building its own fleet of jets to expedite deliverys for about a year now. Likely, they're also trying to pressure FedEx and UPS into more lucrative contracts. Question: How many years before Amazon starts its own commercial airline? Wouldn't that shake-up the near monopolistic grip now held by the big 3? Maybe make flying convenient and affordable again?
Bloomberg's been running the story today, which made me think of linking it. However, the best article I could find is from January ''17. If anyone has something better or more recent, feel free to add it.
