Annual sales of indexed and variable annuities took another nosedive in the first quarter with the Department of Labor's fiduciary rule set to come into force.

    Nothing but good news for consumers. Unfortunately, there is a large "wealth management" company here in Columbus that advertises on television a TON, but of course no mention is made of the fact they are huge sellers of indexed annuities. They must be waiting until the DOL rule kicks in to change (Lord know what they will peddle then), or perhaps they think it won't be put to action at all.
