As politics has little affect upon investments, I'm only watching from curiosity; YA, right !

So, that election thing in France. If Macron wins, profits may be taken from the below and related investment areas; and the same goes for, if Macron loses. Will be some money trimming/profit taking by the big players, IMHO.

And that pesky health care legislation here in the U.S. So far, good for most health sectors. Devil will be in the Senate version details, yes?

Related to the health care legislation is whether a plan would be in place to "leave to the states as how to handle and fund "the pre-existing medical condition human", uh; I mean citizen, in order to be able to offer some form of health insurance inside of a "special cases pool".
Related to this, is one might imagine a circumstance where some states could attract or drive away certain age sectors of the population. For those without the means or other ability to move to a favored healthcare state, well; so sorry. Never know, such a large scale event, over time, could move real estate prices in some states and particular locations.
As healthcare related is only about 20% of monetary business value in this country, one may suppose; who really gives a rip, except the future patients.

Oh, about 40% of our equity investment holdings are currently European and healthcare related. Past this, we are not attempting to time anything.

Otherwise, all is well in investment land, eh?

Have a good remainder of your weekend.

Catch
