In the mid-naughts, maybe earlier, with two kids in expensive college and trying to look ahead prudently, I bought Lehman bonds for my wife and me. Meaningful moneys were invested, by our standards.
At some point I presciently sold mine for gain to some other hapless soul. Being more prudent with her investments than with mine, we held onto my wife's.
Today I got email from Fidelity saying that its fate had finally been "settled": $130 per $10k bond.
