I hold USTEX (USAA Tax Exempt LT Muni) which has shown capital appreciation along with its 4.21% yield (1 yr total return of 13.82%). Higher interest rates are coming but, in the meantime; not a bad place to park some tax free cash.

  • Reply to @bee: Good for you. At present we invest with Vanguard. Is there any reason(s) you invest with USAA funds?

    Hi Sven,
I'm sure Vanguard's ER is lower than USAA but, I hold this fund in a taxable account which serves as a component of my banking accounts so it is easy to move between the two.
  • Reply to @bee: One can set up to bank with a brokerage instead of a traditional bank. Moving funds around is never easier. We left BOA long time ago in favor of credit unions.
