The Closing Bell: US Stock Indexes Mostly Higher In Afternoon Trading; Oil Up

FYI: U.S. stocks edged higher in afternoon trading as crude extended gains following government data that eased concerns that supplies were bulging. Treasuries rose as the Trump administration battled to revive its legislative agenda and the U.K. formally triggered the Brexit process.
