FYI: (Click On Article Title At Top Of Google Search)
Mariko Gordon, 55, founded small-cap specialist Daruma Capital in 1995, after putting in time with Manning & Napier and small-cap value investor Chuck Royce. Daruma, with $1.8 billion in assets, bears the same name as the founder of Zen Buddhism, whose resoluteness, perseverance, and resilience allowed him to meditate continuously for nine years—a thoughtful, long-term approach that Gordon and her analysts aim to emulate with their concentrated stock portfolios.
