FYI: The danger of indexed funds eclipsing actively-managed funds is a much talked about subject. Investors seem to love to play out the worst-case scenario, though there isn’t enough compelling evidence to suggest an “index fund bubble”… yet. Don’t buy the doom, but keep your eye on the gloom — that is the concern that there is much less alpha to go around.
