FYI: The phrase "shock and awe" may very well describe the feelings of many ETF investors when they take stock of their portfolios as a tumultuous and challenging year winds down.
The China scare in January, the Brexit pullback in June, the Fed's mixed signals and election anxiety — the markets withstood several curve balls. And for many investors, exchange traded funds paved the way to success as they seized opportunities and sidestepped risks.
