Berkshire's B Shares Are Second Class No More -

FYI: (Click On Article Title At Top Of Google Search)

Berkshire’s “Baby Bs” are all grown up.

While Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s Class A shares have been in the news this week as they surpassed the $250,000 threshold for the first time, it’s the Class B stock that now accounts for the majority of the company’s market value.

The Class B shares, trading at $166.12 on Wednesday, accounted for 52% of the company’s market capitalization at the end of the third quarter, up from about 12% when they debuted in 1996, according to FactSet. They passed the 50% threshold in last year’s third quarter
