Here’s When Markets Close On Black Friday

FYI: With stocks trading near record highs, traders have a lot to be thankful for during the Thanksgiving Day holiday next week.

And they’ll have plenty of time to reflect on their good fortune (or not) when markets close Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving. Plus, since 1992, stock exchanges have observed an abbreviated session on Black Friday, the traditional kickoff to holiday shopping.

On the day after Thanksgiving, stock-trading volume is typically half of its level from a standard trading session.
