WisdomTree Goes Robo For Advisors

FYI: WisdomTree Investments (WETF) recently acquired an equity stake in AdvisorEngine, a digital wealth management platform. The asset manager invested $20 million for a 36% stake in the company, formerly known as Vanare. WisdomTree is reportedly making a play for advisors and not consumers, according to ETF.com’s Cinthia Murphy. Read more here.

According to BI Intelligence, global assets under management by robo-advisors could hit $8 trillion by 2020.
