Donors to Veterans’ Causes Face Crowded Field of Charities

From the NY Times. I hope everyone who's interested can access it.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/06/giving/donors-to-veterans-causes-face-crowded-field-of-charities.html?em_pos=small&emc=edit_my_20161107&nl=your-money&nl_art=7&nlid=20007425&ref=headline&te=1&_r=0

The article describes some of the issues Howard Schultz (Chairman and CEO of Starbucks) had in finding military related charities or causes worth his considerable support. "The Schultz Family Foundation spent several months working with a consulting firm to survey the roughly 40,000 charitable organizations in the country dedicated to helping veterans and their families." Forty thousand people, who knew.

I only wish that I could find, or that he had made public, the "Military Landscape Analysis" report which breaks down the various charities he looked at. If anyone can locate it I would appreciate a link.
