This Year, The Market's Going To The Dogs

FYI: (Click On Article Title At Top Of Google Search)
The Dogs of the Dow, a well-established investment strategy, entails taking the 10 highest-yielding stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average on Jan. 1 and holding them for the rest of that year.

The aim of this approach, popularized in the early 1990s by Michael B. O’Higgins in his book Beating the Dow, is to find temporarily undervalued stocks with high yields. Once the market catches on, the theory goes, their prices will rebound.

The strategy has had mixed results, however, and investors seeking yield need to approach it with some caution.
