U.S. Government Money Fund Assets Jump In :Latest Week

FYI: Assets of U.S. money market funds that own only government securities jumped in the latest week since the final phase of industry reform went into effect nearly two weeks ago, the Money Fund Report said on Wednesday.

    Funny - I just this week sold what little I'd maintained in Price's money market fund (mostly for current budget disbursement needs) and moved it to their ultra-short fund (TRBUX). The "reforms" have devastated yields on retail mm funds. Very short term funds by comparison have benefited - though their yields are still small.
