FYI: (Click On Article Title At Top Of Google Search) The U.S. Military Cemetery and Memorial at Henri-Chapelle, a Belgian village about 80 miles east of Brussels, holds the remains of 7,992 Americans killed in World War II. I am continually gratified and impressed by how well the resting places of our service men and women in foreign lands are cared for, maintained and respected by the local population(s). Too bad there are so many.
I recently visited the Florence American Cemetery while in Italy, and was also impressed with the care and condition of this cemetery cared for by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is a total of 70 acres, with over 4400 burials, and It reminded me of a smaller version of Arlington National Cemetery.
