Reverse "burp" today driving markets?

Wonder if Fed Speak or anything led to today's rally? Seems the ever changing election polls are having some effect. Markets like gridlock - with different parties controlling the executive & legislative branches. Just idle speculation.

Checked some long range weather forecasts FWIW. Brutal cold and above average snowfall expected for Michigan and the north east quarter of the country. Might affect energy prices.

Raised a slight bit more cash (from PRNEX) on Wednesday's oil rally.

    hank: If the recent rains, here in WI., turn to snow later on I'll concur with the weather forecast. I hope the uptick equals Thursday down movement.
