In case anyone else is curious, here's what "Relaxed Constraint" means (quoting from the Principal Investment Strategies section):
"Relaxed Constraint” in the Fund’s name reflects the Fund’s strategy to take long as well as short positions in the equity securities in which it invests, as opposed to a traditional “long-only” portfolio which does not establish short positions (i.e., relaxing the “long-only” constraint).
In other words, long-short. Maybe the bizarre language resembling a loose-fitting seat belt is an attempt to keep people from confusing it with just plain ol' AQR LSE?
Inquiring minds might wonder if there's a private-enterprise version of a Circumlocution Office (a la Charles Dickens) lurking deep in the AQR maze.
It looks like they're trying to resurrect the 130/30 fund structure from the filings. If it's got the same secret sauce as their long short fund, count me in.
